Edith (1862-1938) was the daughter of Mary Copland Lethbridge and Charles Cowper M.L.A., grandson of Archdeacon William Cowper (1778-1858).
Original portrait engraving, by G.B. Shaw after Marshall Claxton's oil portrait (ZML 897 Mitchell Library), from which carte-de-visite of William Cowper (p.48a) was photographed, is located at P2/ COWPER, WILLIAM, Mitchell Library.
