    Vol. 3 Contains an additional photograph titled 'Circular Quay, Sydney Cove, 1873'; handwritten captions on three of the photographs; bookplate of Alfred Lee affixed inside the front cover.

    Three copies of this album are held:
    Vol. 1 with accompanying mss letter, from G. Eagar, N.S.W. Treasury, to A. H. Palmer, M.P., Brisbane, dated 28th July 1875
    Vol. 2 without frontispiece
    Vol. 3 Contains an additional photograph titled `Circular Quay, Sydney Cove, 1873' and handwritten captions on three of the photographs. An Alfred Lee bookplate is affixed inside the front cover. The presence of this bookplate indicates that the volume was in the possession of David Scott Mitchell who acquired the majority of Alfred Lee's collection.

    Photographs attributed to Charles Pickering on the basis of the same images reproduced in: Photographs of public and other buildings &c., taken by authority of the Government of New South Wales, at the request of the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
