    26-29. Solar Eclipse in Australia. Determination of the deflection of light by the Sun's gravitational field from observations made at Cordillo Downs, South Australia, during the total eclipse of 21 Sept 1922

    LURLINE BAY, SYDNEY
    30-31. Experiment in producing electricity from the waves of the sea, 1931 / John Powell. Typescript note on reverse of photograph: 'This experiment was started by Mr Bates about 8 years ago (1923). He is successful in producing Electricity to light a chain of lamps at 240 volts. The power is produced by the waves raising a float, which works a pump, pumping water to the top of the cliff, the water coming down again through a pipe working a dynamo.'
