    Arthur Mailey played 21 tests for Australia as a leg spin bowler and was also a talented cartoonist and journalist who worked for the Bulletin, the Sun and other newspapers.
    Arthur Morris is considered by keen judges to be one of Australia's greatest opening batsmen. He was an important member of Don Bradman's 1948 Invincibles' and played in 46 tests (two as captain) in a career spanning the years 1946 to 1955.
  • Scope and Content
    Official S.S. Orsova luncheon menu dated 23 September 1956. On the back cover is an original caricature portrait of Arthur Morris and his wife Valerie with handwritten caption 'I can't believe my dear, we've bin married two long years'. The wife replies 'It seems like fifty to me'. The portrait was drawn by Mailey for Morris on the occasion of his second wedding anniversary. Initialled 'A.M. V.M. and the Bradmen' and dated 1956. Also signed in black ink by Morris.
