    "20, Alfred Place West, (near Museum), / South Kensington, London, S.W." -- printed
    "Lady Banks / Original portrait in wax modelled by James Tassie. -- handwritten in black ink.
    "H / 228" on ink on circular shaped label refers to number assigned by the Australian Museum.
    There is a crack through the lower right of the portrait.
