    Tarana", 1 Wylde Street, Potts Point, was built in 1889 as a marine villa for Arthur Frederick Hale McQuade and family. It was designed by Edward Harman Buchanan and is considered one of Sydney's most significant examples of Victorian Italianate architecture. In 1907 extensions were added, managed by architects Joseph Ignatius Sheerin and John Francis Hennessy. Source: notes on ML file
