    Henry Lippmann was one of the Jewish boys from the Ort (Organisation for Rehabilitation and Training) school in Berlin who were taken to England after the Kristallnacht pogrom in November 1938. The boys stayed at a Kitchener Camp in southern England for six months before their new Ort school was established in Leeds.
