Dr John Edward Docker is a literary critic and cultural commentator. He has held academic and literary positions including Visiting Fellow Humanities Research Centre at the Australian National University, Lecturer in Media Studies at the Canberra College of Advanced Education and the University of Technology Sydney and Honorary Professor in the School of Philosophical and Historical Inquiry at the University of Sydney. He has published several books and numerous articles, essays and conference papers.
