Newcastle Newsprint Pty Limited was established on 29 June 1960. The company acquired and stored newsprint for the Newcastle newspapers. In 1982 John Fairfax Limited sold its Blackwattle Bay newsprint store and acquired a newsprint terminal and loading facility at Rozelle. The series consists of the minutes of the meetings of Directors and the annual meetings of shareholders. The meetings include financial reports, newsprint stock, cost of newsprint, agreements especially with Australian Newsprint Mills Pty Limited. The shareholders' meetings hear reports from the Directors, adopted accounts and elected directors.
