  1 watercolour of the Claret hoya showing green and brown leaves with seed pods and a cluster of white flowers.
  
  Caption label no. 7 on mounted board. "Claret hoya. Hoya nicholsoniae. 'Mr Kennedy proceeded to explore the range to ascertain the best spot to cross it, it being covered in thick scrub … I also here obtained specimens of a beautiful Hoya, with long lanceolate leaves'. W. Carron, 29 July 1848".
