Three A5 hardcover sketchbooks containing sketches in crayon, ink and pencil of boat designs, personal portraits, house designs, including his house in Blackheath, New South Wales, and architectural details of buildings visited during his travels to Helsinki, Finland; New Zealand; Japan; Venice, Italy; Fiji and Africa. Also included are notes for speeches, including the opening of 'The Studio of John Utzon' exhibition at the Museum of Sydney, 2004, agenda for meetings, planning ideas for architectural projects, and various quotes.
