    Tom Carment (1954-) is a plein air artist and writer. Born in Sydney in 1954, he has been writing and painting landscapes, still lifes and portraits since the early 1970s. His pictures have been shown in numerous exhibitions and selected twelve times for the Archibald Prize. He is the author of Days and Nights in Africa (1985), Seven Walks: Cape Leeuwin to Bundeena (2014) and Womerah Lane: Lives and Landscapes (2019). Womerah Lane was shortlisted for the non-fiction section of the 2021 NSW Premier's Literary Awards.
