    Approximately 4,000 drawings - various sizes - chiefly black and white ink drawings. Also includes some watercolour sketches, duotone prints, bromide negatives and bromide prints
  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The Black and White Artists’ Club was formed in 1924, becoming The Australian Black and White Artists’ Club in 1984.

    ‘The Stanleys, The Bulletin Black and White Artists’ Awards’, the annual award for cartooning, began in 1985. Several Stanley Exhibitions were held at the State Library of New South Wales. In 1993 there was no exhibition held for the Black and White Artists' Club at the State Library of New South Wales.

    In 1993 there was no exhibition held for the Black and White Artists' Club at the State Library of New South Wales.
