Kevin Stewart (1928- ) was educated at Christian Brothers College, Marrickville and De La Salle College, Marrickville. He was elected to the NSW Legislative Assembly in 1962 as the ALP member for Canterbury and held the seat until 1985. He held ministerial portfolios in the Wran government including Health (1976-1981), Youth and Community Services (1981-1983), Mineral Resources (1983-1984) and Local Government (1984-1985).

Five scrapbook albums containing newscuttings and photographs, May 1976 - December 1985, and letters of appreciation, December 1985 - February 1986; the newscuttings are from the NSW metropolitan and country press and reflect the concerns of the ministries held by Stewart:
