1933-1975; Individual Correspondence: Between Betty Roland and Guido Baracchi, with a manuscript Index to Correspondence prepared by Betty Roland. Thirty letters, most written by Betty Roland to Guido Baracchi during the period following the end of their relationship in 1942 and Baracchi's death in 1975. Also includes correspondence with Ula Baracchi and Ethel Victoria Baracchi, an analysis of Guido Baracchi's handwriting (1957), and a copy of his last Will (1975). RESTRICTED. Five letters written in 1975, mainly canvassing the possibility of a performance of The Touch of Silk under Tasker's direction; one letter written in 1986. Annotation on wrapper reads "For Betty". Correspondence with The State Library of New South Wales, The State Library of Victoria and National Library of Australia concerning material deposited with those institutions. Some correspondence, marked "Index of material lodged in La Trobe, Mitchell and National Libraries" has been separated by Betty Roland from the main chronological run. 1986-1987; Individual Correspondence: Blayney Family History Research, 1986-1987. Relates to Roland's research into her own early life and the Blayuney family generally, whilst gathering information for her autobiographical works.
