Drawings include two heads of Maoris (PXD 329 f.1 &2), four skulls of New South Wales aborigines (PXD 329 f.4 - 6 a & b) and two skulls of an orang-outang (PXD 329 f.3 a & b). The drawings appear to have belonged to Baron Godert Alexander Gerard Philip van der Capellan (1778-1848), the Governor General of the Dutch East Indies between 1816 and 1826

Many of the drawings have Dutch inscriptions
