Richard Deutch is a freelance writer and literary agent. He was born in the USA in 1944 and now lives in Australia. He has contributed to many magazines in both countries and is the author of seven books among them The Dime (poetry, 1970), From Barbecue to Bouillabaisse (cooking & travel,1989), Your Book of Magic Secrets (1991), The Australian Magician's Handbook (1993). He is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
