Boyd Alexander Cunninghame was born in Scotland in 1814. He migrated to New South Wales and married his wife, Mary, in Sydney in 1840. He died at sea in 1860. Robert Charles Cunninghame was born in 1816. He arrived in Sydney in 1838 to join his brother, Boyd. He died unmarried in Scotland in 1888. Robert Thomson was Boyd's business partner in a property on the Monaro called 'Pinchgut' (later 'Maffra') from 1835 to 1842. From 1842 until his death in 1863 he was partner with Robert Cunninghame in stations in Gippsland including 'Clydebank' and 'Marley Point'. - Scope and ContentTranscriptions of letters and extracts of letters between members of the Cunninghame family in Australia and Scotland.
