    This extensive series comprises manuscript notes by Graham and cuttings from newspapers and magazines arranged by subject which were originally housed by Graham in a variety of expanding files, folders and envelopes

    1961-1993; File of typescript notes and newscuttings originally housed in an expanding file. Originally compliled by Graham 1961-1984, later sorted and annotated and new material added 1991-1993. The contents of this file are now housed in boxes 9 to 16. Box 9: English and Scottish pottery, clocks and watches, jewellery, American ceramics, Australian tokens and medals, Country Life articles of Australian interest. Box 10: Museums and libraries in Australia and overseas, restaurants, clubs, hotels, school badges, retail stores in Sydney. Box 11: Photography in Australia, Masonic and Jewish collections, transport, ships and shipping, confectionery, 'assorted subjects' [mainly concerning Australian companies]. Boxes 12 and 13: Australian silver. Box 14: Australian artists and illustrators, Australian furniture. Box 15: Iron in Australia, insurance companies (fire marks), metal kitchenware, 'Japanned' wares, articles from Weekend Business Review concerning books and book auctions. Box 16: 'Auction notes and similar, and collections', 'Glass study' [research proposal by Anne Bickford, 1981, with annotations by Graham], Australian pottery, overseas newscutting of Australian interest.     1974-1991; File of typescript notes and newscuttings mainly concerning Australian items. Originally housed by Graham in an expanding file. The contents of this file are now housed in boxes 17 to 22. Box 17: Disney related items, comics, Beatles, etc; arts and crafts, furniture; Australian glass. Box 18: Australian glass (continued), Aboriginal inspired decoration, books and libraries. Box 19: Miscellaneous subjects including barbering, grocery/hardware and military uniforms; New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and the Pacific; toys and games; textiles, paper and typewriters. Box 20: Berlei and Hurley family; embroidery and textiles; miscellaneous subjects including typewriters, telephones, tea, perfumery, Christmas customs and commercial art. Box 21: Miscellaneous subjects including Chinese and Japanese goods in Australia, roller skating, ostriches, invitations, umbrellas, pipes, zoos and circuses, flora and fauna, pets, obituaries, menus, matches and history of sports. Box 22: Rubber, tyres and bicycles; Australian music, Boosey and Hawkes, Marsh Brothers; theatre buildings and musicians; opera, ballet, and miscellaneous newscuttings concerning the theatre (Call No.: ML MSS 6210/17-22)

The contents of this file are now housed in boxes 23 to 25. Box 23: Continental porcelain and pottery, English porcelain and pottery, European furniture and clocks, Chinese ceramics, oriental art, miscellaneous topics. Box 24: Textiles, embroideries, wallpapers, silver, pewter, metals, engravings and prints, buildings, small arts and crafts, glass, modern ceramics and household items.     1905-1994; 'Boosey and Hawkes', an album of notes and newscuttings concerning the history of music publisher Boosey and Hawkes compiled by Graham in 1986, annotated to 1991; catalogues of music, 1954-1959; notes concerning musicians; notes concerning radio and television performances of opera and oratorio; research notes and a small collection of programmes for opera, ballet and theatre, 1916-1958; Research notes concerning vocal score of La Sonnambula by Bellini, adapted by Henry R. Bishop, which is located in the Mitchell Library printed books collection; In the Cathedral, music by G.S. de Chaneet, words by Louis Voight - abbreviated version printed in Leipzig, undated, together with manuscript copy of vocal line annotated 'Wm Hutchens May 15th 1905'. Box 37: Examples of greeting cards, 1960s to 1980s, most produced or used in Australia. Boxes 38 and 39: Examples of greeting cards originally housed in a box labelled by Graham 'Modern cards from early 1960s and onwards, various types - wedding, birthday, Easter, Xmas...'.
