  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

In April 1979 a group of women rented a warehouse in the Haymarket, Sydney, to provide a centre for various collectives within the women's movement. The Women's Warehouse Collective was made up of representatives from each of the individual collectives; these included Screenprinting and Photography Collective, Music Collective, Feminist Film Workers, Gym Collective, Rouge Collective (NSW branch), Girl's Own Collective. The Warehouse was also used as a meeting place for women and as a venue for fund-raising dances and other performances; workshops and classes were held by some of the collectives. Fiona Graph was a member of the Women's Warehouse Collective; she compiled the scrapbook of photographs (her own), minutes, newscuttings and ephemeral items.
