    The five letters were found in the roof of a house at 101 Ocean Street, Edgecliff, New South Wales, c. 1964. At that time the house was the property of Mrs Warwick Lindsay, daughter of Mrs Betty Reid

    1886, n.d.; five letters: two addressed to 'dear Charley' and signed respectively Terence and T. Just [?]; one addressed to 'dearest and beloved darling' and signed Thomas; two addressed to Miss Dwyer, one of these signed T. Just [?] and one unsigned

    1899-1900; South African War diary of Captain Horace Dangar with a copy of a letter sent by him to his mother 7 January 1900

    1922-1928; diary of Betty Reid nee Dangar includes a trip to Europe
