Copied 1894; Dates from John McNamara, Port of Yamba Historical Society Yamba Museum 08/02/2012. "The two storey building with a peaked roof in the centre of the photograph is the Yamba Hotel built in 1884.
The neat white building to the left of the Hotel is oiginal school but the principal's residence which was built in 1888 immediately in front of the school is not in the photograph.
Closer to the camera and next door to the Yamba Hotel is Maggie Buchanan's Boarding House of c1878 and then Captain Mann's Pacific Hotel built 1873 and the Wooli Hotel built 1862 is just visible above the treeline." - Topic
