A lithograph of this portrait was made in 1827 by A. Hoffay, and published by Dickinson. The title describes it as a "print of the celebrated circumnavigator, Captain James Cooke (sic) of the Royal Navy". However it seems more likely to be the portrait of another Captain Cook.
