    1 silver eggcup and spoon, in case - eggcup (height 7 cm., diam. base 4.2 cm., diam. top, 4.8 cm.); spoon (11.8 cm. length, width 2.5 cm.), in case 15 x 15.5 x 7 cm.
  • Scope and Content
    Sterling silver eggcup of solid gauge, plain vase shaped with reeded rim, moulded stem and on spreading foot. Stamped with maker's mark 'H.BRS' and hallmarks: crown, lion passant, letter 's'. Marked for Hardy Bros, Sheffield 1910.

    Spoon, plain Old English pattern with fully reeded end to the handle. Stamped with hallmarks: crown, lion passant, letter 't' and maker's mark 'H.BRS'. Marked for Hardy Bros, Sheffield 1911.
    Cartouche shaped fitted case, contemporary with contents, with the insignia of "Hardy Brothers Ltd. / Goldsmiths & Jewellers / Sydney & Brisbane / Made in England" on fabric to the underside of the lid. Blue fabric interior base.
