Gina Lennox (1956- ) author, scientist, educator and interviewer. Her first published book 'People of the Cross' (1993) investigated the lives of ordinary Australians who lived and worked in Kings Cross. Her next book, 'Struck by Lightning' (1996) explored the life of Garry Lynch, father of murdered Nurse Anita Cobby, and his work with both murderers and surviving victims of homicide. Lennox's 2001 anthology 'Fire, Snow and Honey: Voices from Kurdistan : Essays, Life Stories, Poems, Short Fiction and Fables Contributed by People from Kurdistan' (2001) was shortlisted for the New South Wales Premier’s History Prize. She has worked extensively with troubled teenagers and has conducted several writing workshops around Sydney
