Ruby Langford Ginibi is an award-winning Aboriginal author and an elder of the Bundjalung people of northern NSW.

The collection comprises drafts and edited manuscripts, correspondence, ephemera, unpublished Theses on Indigenous issues, photographs and other material concerning Ginibi’s life and career. The collection includes material relating to Ginibi’s written works ‘Don’t take your Love to Town’, ‘Real Deadly’, ‘Haunted by the Past’, ‘My Bundjalung People’ and ‘All my Mob’, as well as extensive correspondence with family, friends, publishers and other authors including Mudrooroo, Anita Heiss, Anne Summers, and Juno Gemes.
