  Related pencil drawing, 'Bungonia, Argyle July 28/36--', title and date lower right, 19.8 x 29.8 cm, inscribed along lower edge in another hand (R.T. Carter?) "I think Jeffries & Campbell's property... D.S.M. has picture of this" and on reverse, upper left, inscribed by Martens 'W. [Thomas?] I.[cely] Esq--'; bequeathed by Sir William Dixson, 1952, DL PX 24, f. 29.
  
  Three other Bungonia views by Martens were purchased for 6 guineas each in 1837 by 'J. Futter' (presumably Robert Futter of Lumley Park, Bungonia, see Early colonial houses in New South Wales, by Rachel Roxburgh (1974), p. 449-57: 4 Apr. 'View of Bungonia'; 7 Apr. 'View of Bungonia'; and 12 Apr. 'View of Lumley'.
