  These were the Letters of Newton Fowell 2d Leiu.t of the Sirius who dyed on his Passage from Batavia to New South Wales Aug.st 25 1790. Aged 22.
  Universally lamented. He excelled most young Men of his age both in Body & Mind which made his death an inexpressable Grief to his Parents John & Mary Fowell
