Warren Bardsley was born in Sydney in 1882. He played 41 tests for Australia as a left-hand batsmen between 1909 and 1926 and was captain on two occassions. On his first tour of England in 1909 he scored two centuries in the one test, the first cricketer to achieve this feat. He made three further tours of England in 1912, 1921 and 1926. - Scope and ContentPostcard of Warren Bardsley. Signed by Bardsley in black ink and sent by him to H.M. Nash with a manuscript message. Date stamped 'London'.
