  1 sketchbook (ca. 80 pencil, watercolour, wash drawings) - 38 x 27.5 x 2.5 cm.
  
• Scope and Content
  The sketches provide an account of the Wanderer's voyage from South Head Twofold Bay and The Heads Botany Bay to Van Diemens Land [ie. Tasmania] showing coastal profiles. Other places represented include: Cape Howe, Freycinet Peninsula, Maria Island, Tasmans Head, Cape Raoul, Cape Pillar, entrance to Port Arthur, Woolmers Thomas Archer Esqr., 'Entally' seat of the late Thomas Reibey Esqr., Gibbet Hill, Pattersons Plains Launceston, Georges Town, Pig Island, Coulston, River Tamar, Inn Bagdag, and a Green Parrot of Van Diemens Land. It also depicts early nineteenth century life and events as observed by Brierly whilst travelling in Van Diemens Land including local scenes, homesteads, and harbour activity.
