Sir Charles Nicholson owned extensive properties at Bringelly and on the Shoalhaven River. His city residence was Tarmons, Woolloomooloo, which he sold to the Sisters of Charity in 1856

This collection consists of documents, letters etc. relating to his properties, and of papers of various estates in which he was involved as executor or trustee
