    Association of landholders in Riverina District, N.S.W., formed September 1911, which aimed at ensuring equitable regulation, control and use of the water of the Yanko, Colombo, Billagong and Forest creeks with the introduction of the Murrumbidgee irrigation plans. The League succeeded the Riverina Creeks Committee which had resulted from an appeal by landholders against the granting of a licence under the Water Rights Act of 1896 to Sir Samuel McCaughey, enabling him to maintain a high level of water in dams on his property

    I. Evidence and counsel's addresses, 1896-1897 in case of appeal against granting of licence 1896 to Sir Samuel McCaughey. Concerns dams on Coonong and Coree Stations.

    II. Papers of the League, 1911-1922 A. Documents referred to in Minutes of the League, 1911-1920. B. Correspondence, 1920-1922. C. Reports, 1904-1920 re Yanko, Colombo and Billabong Creeks papers re conference at Jerilderie, 1920, re Yanko water supply and a summary of licensed works etc on these creeks to 1920.
