Thomas Raine, 1793-1860, mariner, merchant and pastoralist, made several voyages to Australia, 1811-1823 before finally settling in New South Wales. His brother John 1786?-1837, came to Australia in 1819, and was a merchant, and notary public. John Raine's son, John Robert Raine, 1817?, was also a notary public - Scope and ContentI.
