Film editor, writer for the Commonwealth documentary unit; in 1940 appointed producer writer to the official film and photo unit attached to the Australian Combined Services. Later became Senior Producer for the Commonwealth Film Unit - Scope and ContentJournals, c.195-1956, re planning of a film on New Guinea. Vol. ML MSS. 1760/2 b. 'Third visit' 27 Aug. - 20 Nov. 1956, describing visit to Papua and New Guinea by a film crew and the making of a film. Vol. ML MSS. 1760/3 c. 'On patrol', c.195-, describing a patrol in the Southern Highlands region of New Guinea, with additional material including script of radio feature. Contents list in volume
