    Lionel Lindsay, 1874-1961, was an artist, journalist and art critic. Peter Lindsay is his son. Philip Lindsay, 1906-1958, historical novelist, and Jack Lindsay, b.1900, poet, novelist and publishers, were both sons of Lionel's brother, Norman Lindsay. Sir James Robert McGregor, 1889-1973, was associated with the Australian wool industry and was a Trustee of the Art Gallery of New South Wales

    I. Correspondence c.1902-1961, mainly of Lionel Lindsay with i.a. James Robert McGregor, 1910-1961, also of Philip Lindsay 1930-1954, Jack Lindsay, c.1932-1938, Peter Lindsay, c.1921-1951 with letter by Raymond Lindsay.

    II. Lionel Lindsay, 1899-1958.
    Includes 'A Note on Portraiture and the portrait of Joshua Smith by Dobell, for Mr. Kitto'.
    Volume of photographs placed at PXA65 contains MS. insertions relating to Cobb & Co. commemorative stamp, 1955.

    III. Philip Lindsay, c.1930-1940.
    A. Typescripts, with MS. corrections, of novels, Panama is burning, 1932, King Richard III, 1933. King Henry V, 1934, together with report by Colin Still on The Nutbrown maid, 1938, and photograph relating to The Duke is served, 1936.
