  • Scope and Content
    ITEM 01
    a. Medallion. The obverse is cast in relief with image of Wicket-keeper behind stumps and Batsman at crease. To the right of Batsman's leg around outside of medallion is incised text, "Henry Dropst". Reverse is cast with laurel wreath at top centre and space below for inscribing person's name. Stored in non-original cardboard box.

    b. Box. Circular shaped green cardboard box (non-original) with black printed text inside lid, "henri Teterger / 248, rue de Rivoli / Paris / Grands Prix".
    Possibly manufactured to commemorate match between "The Army v. Australia, Aldershot, August 1938"

    ITEM 02
    Embossing stamp or seal. Turned wooden handle, cylindrical in shape with sphere at one end and rings or spools at end that joins stamp. The base of the seal is made of brass and is oval shaped with a small triangular extension at the bottom. It has a low relief stamp that bears the inscription, "Australian Eleven" above the image of 2 cricket bats crossed in front of stumps. Beneath this image are incised lines and a small figure [running?].
    Used to validate official seals on documents.
