    Most individual profiles are captioned in ink
    Dated from manuscript notes and 2 sheets watermarked 1807
    Many of the names of islands are not on modern charts but are to be found in the East India pilot 1803 (ML X912/23) v.2. The track of the "General Elliot" is shown on map 101
    Many of the names on the NSW profiles (30-31) are not on modern maps but they do appear on the map in Oxley's printed journal of 2 expeditions, 1820 (ML Q981/10)
    Probably 2 of the 5 "pencil drawings and scales of mountains" included in Lot 28 of Sotheby Wilkinson & Hodge's sale catalogue of the Macquarie papers, Feb. 1914 (30-31).
