- Scope and ContentContains drawings of landscapes including Sydney views (Sydney Harbour and Watson's Bay), the Illawarra District, and Tahiti; seascape scenes including the H.M.S. Rattlesnake; and general scenes of bushland, sailing boats, and windmills. Artists include Conrad Martens, O.W. Brierly, J.A. Gilfillian [ie. Gilfillan], and M.J. Scott. At the front of the album is a heraldic coat of arms

Some drawings have been identified and attributed by a later hand below image
The drawing, [Tahiti], is a copy of T.H. Huxley's watercolour, Natives on the New Guinea Coast, 1849
