No. 13 is a similar view to "Burra Creek 1851" in [South Australian drawings, ca. 1843-1879 / by William Anderson Cawthorne] PXD 39 (No.20).

A note on a previous contents list relates that Nos. 44-49 have been separated from other titled views because of their size.

No. 50 - a letterpress note reading, "Grocott James Turner, stationer & print seller 476, George - St." was formerly pasted to the back of the sketch.

One drawing (Volume 4, no 2) is initialled, "W.A.C"
