Capt. William Wilson, was a mariner, while his brother, James Milne Wilson (1812-80), became manager of Hobart's Cascade Brwery and was later Premier and Colonial Secretary for Tasmania 1869-72

1) Letterbook of William Wilson 1823-24, Sydney. 2) Notebook 1828, 1830, of voyages by John Wilson in the brig Sisters and the barque Dover. 3) Letters 1824-34, to James and Willisam Wilson from their sister Jane. 4) Letters 1827-49, to James and William Wilson from their parents John and Barbara Wilson. 5) Papers 1835-80, of Sir James Milne Wilson, including letters to his family and Francis Watkins, documents, drafts of parliamentary bills, drafts of speeches and photographs. 6) Wilson papers 1814-94. 7) Correspondence 1828-50, of the Allardyce family, with a copy of the will of William Allardyce. 8) Papers 1935-44, relating to the history of the Wilson and Degraves families
