Selections from the letterbooks of the Foreign Mission Committees of the Church of Scotland, United Presbyterian Church in Australia, and Free Church of Scotland (which united in 1929). They deal with the activities and divisions of the Presbyterian Church in Australia, especially in the period 1848-66; the recruitment of missionaries for India; and the work of the mission at Aneityum and Tanna in the New Hebrides, with the Free Church administered from 1876 to 1929. There are also photograph albums and some original correspondence of the New Hebrides Mission, 1891-1900, 1923-31
