  • Scope and Content
    1. Diary of Anne Bourke, daughter of Sir Richard Bourke kept on the voyage from England to N.S.W. on the Margaret and during her first few weeks in Sydney, 1831 Aug.-Dec. 2. Copies of letters from Alexander Knox to Lady B., 1809-15 dealing mainly with religious subjects. 3. Correspondence of the Bourke family, 1822-55. Principal correpondents are Governor Richard Bourke, his wife Elizabeth Bourke, his son Richard Bourke and his daughter Anne Bourke. 13 of the letters were written from Sydney and Parramatta, 1832-37 and discuss life in N.S.W.
