The name of sitter and date of photograph were obtained from a published copy in, "The Lone Hand", 1 Oct. 1908, p.693.
The photograph is laid on board inside a border in black ink by Helena Forde. The vignette bears the artist's monogram and signature.
The photograph is a copy print.
Accompanying the photograph is a cardboard label that was attached to the mount. It provides biographical information on Rose Scott in pencil in an unknown hand.
