This item is from the personal archive of Lady Desolie Hurley (nee Richardson), who was the Chief Executive Designer for Berlei Ltd from 1954 until her retirement in 1970. During that time, she was probably most famous for designing the luxurious Mink Bra, which retailed for 50 guineas in 1962. See article in the Daily Telegraph, 27 February, 1962.
This Mink Bra is probably Lady Hurley's own design prototype and is in an excellent condition, consistent with not having been worn. (-- Notes from Acquisition Report) - Name
