  • General note

    Many of the drawings have stamped on the reverse, ""Syms-Convington Relics"" and bear the stamp of the Linnean Society of New South Wales with a number.
    As the inscriptions are in pencil, many have faded and are difficult to read.
    The text along lower edge of reverse of No.6 is difficult to read.
    No.6 is torn at centre of right-hand side.
    No.13 refers to Beechey, F.W., ""Narrative of a Voyage to the Pacific and Beering's Strait"", London: Colwin and Bentley (M.L. ref. 980/B p.69)
