    Music manuscripts used in performance, arranged alphabetically by work. May include orchestral scores and parts, chorus parts, vocal scores, and annotated printed music. Some sets are incomplete. Some manuscripts include pencil annotations showing musicians' names, date, venue and city of a particular performance.

    ca. 1869, and undated; Album of dance music, melody only, with orchestral parts for 1st and 2nd violin and violoncello inserted. Includes contents list of numbered dances. 'Gustave Massartic' embossed on front cover. [French dancer Gustave Massartic, who visited Australia with the Martinetti-Ravel Troupe in 1867 and the Lehman Ballet in 1868, settled in Melbourne and founded a ballet school and ensemble, Le Ballet Massartic, which toured Victoria and South Australia from 1869-1871. Massartic was dancing master at the Theatre Royal from 1873 until his death in 1885]. (Call No.: MLMSS 2185/283)
