The Melba-Williamson company opened 2 Sept 1911 in Sydney and ran for 8 weeks. Eleanora de Cisneros sang in Sansone e Dalila, as it was presented in Italian. Her costume was inspired by paintings in the Louvre and Paquin made the dresses. She returned to a triumphant welcome for a concert tour in 1912. -- Reference: Entertaining Australia : an illustrated history / Katharine Brisbane (ed.).
