ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

The Bush Club was founded in 1939 by Marie Byles and Paddy Pallin. Its objects are to provide a meeting ground for those interested in bushwalking and to organise bushwalking expeditions including camping, nature study and map reading. In addition, the Club assists any movement which promotes the preservation of bushlands. The Bush Club is affiliated with the NSW Federation of Bushwalking Clubs.
