Unsigned. Source of attribution not known, but this drawing is similar in style to another pencil drawing, "[A corroboree of the Australian aborigines, ca.1867]" (formerly titled "Aborigines dancing round campfire"), (V/140), which is signed by Calvert. This drawing appears to be a sketch for "Aboriginal encampment in South Australia", 187-? (oil on canvas)(National Library of Australia), which is attributed to Calvert.
