  The sketchbook is portrait format with an original papered cover with the printed text of a botanical work over marbling. Many of the sketches are missing; 12 numbered and one unnumbered sketch.
  
  This sketchbook probably included 5 loose sketches which have been tipped into a seperate album compiled by the State Library. Their subject and style indicates that they were previously part of this sketchbook.
